The third in the series of “Unpacked” functions focussing on South Burnett tourism will be held on Thursday, April 19, in Kingaroy – and the public have been invited to come along!
South Burnett Regional Council’s tourism body, Discover South Burnett, will host its third quarterly tourism industry networking function at the Kingaroy Town Hall to officially launch the 2018 tourism season.
A Council spokesperson said “South Burnett Unpacked 3” would be an opportunity for tourism operators to display their wares and promote their businesses.
The event will run from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
Cr Danita Potter will officially launch the 2018 tourism season at 11:00am.
Organisers aim to encourage casual interaction between residents, visitors and operators throughout the course of the program.
Some of the businesses from across the region taking up the opportunity to showcase their activity and products include:
- Kingaroy Observatory
- The Bunyas
- The Peanut Van
- Kingsley Grove
- South Burnett Kart Hire
- Jacaranda Tea Rooms
- Bunya Mountains Accommodation Centre
- Maidenwell Trading Post / The Sauce Man
- Queensland Dairy & Heritage Museum
Attendees will also have the opportunity to “meet the makers”, sampling South Burnett produce.
