A 64-year-old woman from the Bundaberg region has been killed in a single-vehicle traffic crash which occurred on the Bunya Highway, about 12km south of Kumbia, on Tuesday morning.
The incident happened just before 11:30am, south of Mannuem Creek.
It is believed the woman’s Toyota LandCruiser, which was heading north on the highway, left the road and struck a tree.
The woman was the only occupant of the vehicle.
The Bunya Highway was closed in both directions while emergency services worked at the scene but has now been reopened.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
