No one was injured in the incident although the vehicle was badly damaged.
The boys – aged 12, 13 and 14 – are being held in custody.
Murgon Police officer-in-charge, Senior Sergeant Lance Guteridge, said a second vehicle was also stolen on the night from the same location.
This vehicle, a Mitsubishi Outlander, has not yet been located despite police searches on Monday.
