The team behind the colourful mural on the main auditorium wall of the Murgon PCYC is at it again … this time creating a mural on an exterior wall of the Telstra substation in Murgon.
The colourful design is a collaboration between Toowoomba-based Bronte Naylor and local artist Kane Brunjes.
The pair have begun work on the mural which is on the rear wall of the substation, facing Gore Street.
Co-ordinator Olivia Everitt said the project had been made possible through the assistance of project partner Telstra, support from the South Burnett PCYC and South Burnett Deputy Mayor Kathy Duff.
Representatives from Telstra will be coming to Murgon to inspect progress on Thursday.
The mural is expected to be completed on Friday.
Bronte and Kane were also in action earlier this week, working with local schoolchildren in an after-school arts project at the PCYC.
The children were making stencils under the guidance of the Bronte in a project funded by the PCYC’s Safer Communities program.
