Downer Mining advised on Wednesday they are offering two positions for an apprentice boilermaker and an apprentice heavy diesel fitter.
Both are full-time positions at Meandu Mine and will require applicants to work onsite.
The company is seeking applications from people who have:
- Completed Year 12 Education
- Have school based and/or casual work experience in a related field (desirable)
- Can work day and night shift rotations
- Have a current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Can show a commitment to personal learning and development
- Are highly motivated to succeed and enjoy being challenged
- Have effective oral and written communication skills
