A come and try evening is being held in Kingaroy on Thursday night for anyone interested in playing futsal (indoor soccer).
The evening will run from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Kingaroy State High School Sports Hall.
UPDATE October 8: Time has been moved forward to 4:00pm
“Come and try some futsal if you are 15 years and over,” coach Debbie Ovens said.
“Bring yourself or a mate or even your own team.
“Please also bring a $5 note each to cover the hall hire.
“Let’s all play some futsal which is great for fitness and fine tuning your foot work.”
While the Thursday event is for 15 years and over, younger would-be players aren’t missing out, either.
Next Monday (October 9) a come and try afternoon will be held at St Mary’s Catholic College’s Maryknoll Centre for Under 16s.
“Please bring $5 to cover hall hire, bring yourself and a mate or your team,” Debbie said.
“Please come have some futsal fun!”
