Nanango business Karate 4 Kids has received a State Government grant to assist it with developing a video coaching component on its website.
The Small Business Digital Grant made a dream come true for owner Geoff French.
“Without this Digital Grant we would still be dreaming of doing this project,” he said.
“And having to meet a timeline meant we put our focus on the project instead of letting it slide.”
The extra work generated by the funding resulted in the business hiring three new staff.
The Digital Grant is part of the State Government’s “Advancing Small Business Queensland Strategy 2016-20”.
Small Business Minister Leeanne Enoch said 23 small businesses in the Wide Bay region had been allocated more than $150,000 in funding to help generate growth and new jobs.
