We know that motorists shouldn’t speed … but they really should watch their speedo if they are wanted by the law!

On Wednesday, the Kingaroy Road Policing unit stopped a vehicle speeding on the Bunya Highway through Tingoora.

The driver, a 33-year-old Ipswich woman, was arrested on outstanding warrants and taken to the Murgon Watchhouse where she was charged.

On Thursday, the  Kingaroy Road Policing unit stopped a vehicle driven by a 36-year-old man in Haly Street, Kingaroy.

Police will allege he tested positive to cannabis. He was issued with a Notice to Appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 18.

On Thursday evening, police stopped another alleged drug driver.

The Kingaroy Road Policing Unit intercepted the 26-year-old woman on William Street, Kingaroy.

They will allege she tested positive to methamphetamine.

She was issued with a Notice to Appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 4.

Also on Thursday, police from the Kingaroy Road Policing Unit intercepted a 39-year-old Murgon man travelling on the Bunya Highway at Wooroolin.

Checks revealed he was unlicensed.

He was issued with a Notice to Appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 18.

On Friday, the Kingaroy Road Policing Unit intercepted two more alleged drug drivers.

A 45-year-old man pulled over on Albert Street, Kingaroy, allegedly tested positive to both methamphetamine and cannabis. He was charged with possessing a dangerous drug and issued a Notice to Appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 18.

On Friday afternoon, an 18-year old Kingaroy man stopped in First Avenue, Kingaroy, allegedly tested positive to cannabis. He was issued with a Notice to Appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 4.
