The Burnett Inland Economic Development Organisation (BIEDO) has a number of events planned to assist local not-for-profit organisations, businesses and farmers.

The first will be held next Thursday (August 17) in the Stanwell Room at SBcare (opposite SupaIGA) in Kingaroy.
The “Grant-ed” information session will help local groups navigate their grant-seeking journey and find out the latest grant funding opportunities.
Guest speaker Cr Danita Potter will also explain Council’s current round of community grants.
The session will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and the cost is $25.

On Tuesday, August 22, Bill Fletcher from QRIDA (formerly QRAA) and Schuh Group’s Dominique Schuh will be explaining how farmers can access up to $2500 through the State Government’s Farm Management Grants.
The grants are available to assist eligible Queensland primary producers or their relatives to offset the costs of professional advice associated with succession planning.
The information session will be held from 9:00am to noon at the Wooroolin Memorial Hall.

BIEDO is selling advertising space on its 2018 “Burnett Inland Best Shots” calendar.
A competition is being run seeking photos showcasing the Burnett Inland region.
Entries so far can be viewed online
Advertising costs range from $110 to $385.
Funds raised through the advertising and sales of the calendar will help BIEDO to continue its not-for-profit work within the Burnett Inland communities.
