A motorcycle rider has died following a single vehicle crash at Wamuran.
A police spokesman said initial investigations indicated about 12:07am a motorbike was travelling north on Newlands Road, just south of Child Road, when the motorbike left the road and crashed into some trees.
The male rider died at the scene.
Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating.
