A young man has been killed in a head-on crash with a semi-trailer on the Burnett Highway near Ban Ban Springs.
A police spokesman said the incident occurred about three kilometres north of Ban Ban Springs about 11:20pm on Saturday.
The driver of the car, a man in his 20s, died at the scene.
The male truck driver was transported to Bundaberg Hospital with non life-threatening abdominal injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
