Things were looking pretty mad at St Mary’s Catholic College on Saturday for the school’s second annual trivia night.

The theme was “Mad Hatters” which meant a lot of Lewis Carroll characters turned up, as well as some less colourful folk wearing some genuinely wacky hats.

Organiser Bronwyn Langford Martoo said the event was growing with 18 tables booked into the Maryknoll Centre this year – almost double last year’s effort.

She said there had also been some good prizes donated, including a luxury weekend away at the Royal Albert Hotel in Brisbane.

The trivia night is a fundraiser for the Year 12 Valedictory Dinner which is held at the end of the school year.
