The Wondai Indoor Bowls Club will be well represented at the national titles that will be held in Launceston later this year.

Seven members have nominated to be part of a strong contingent of players drawn from all over Queensland.

Clive and Beth Weier, Vince Lakin, Daphne Ladlow, Val Klein, Faye Holding and Margaret Stevenson will be travelling to the Apple Isle in August for the competition.

The Australian Championships, which will be played over several days, will comprise Men’s and Ladies singles, three combinations in Pairs, Men’s and Ladies rinks plus a mixed Fours event.

This weekend, many of the players will be competing in the Dalby carnival.
