A toddler was taken to Kingaroy Hospital on Friday morning after being accidentally locked in a car in West Street, Wondai.
Firefighters managed to free the two-year-old boy from the car, who was then taken by ambulance to hospital.
A QAS spokesman said the boy travelled in a stable condition.
The boy’s grandmother is believed to have accidentally locked the boy in the vehicle about 9:45am.
Police are not expected to lay any charges.
