A funeral will be held on January 6 for former Kingaroy Red Ants player Chris Holmes who was killed in a horrific car crash near Bundaberg on December 17.
Chris, 25, and his brother Leith Wakeham, 22, from Gin Gin; and their friend Simon Prideaux, 33, from Bundaberg, died when their Subaru left the road, rolled several times and slammed into trees.
A police spokesman said the driver apparently lost control at the intersection of Birthamba Road and Bishop Drive, near Bucca.
A funeral for Chris and Leith, both former Kingaroy residents, will be held at 11:30am on January 6 at the Bundaberg Crematorium and Memorial Park, 208 Cummins Road, Bundaberg.
