Cattle producers have been invited to attend a BeefUp Forum at Kingaroy Town Hall on October 19.
The QRAA’s John Simpson will be the guest speaker at the event, which has been organised by Meat & Livestock Australia.
The forum, which will get underway at 9:30am, is an opportunity for graziers to learn from experts on the industry drivers and sustainability practices that can make a real difference to profitability.
John will be able to explain how QRAA low-interest Sustainability and First Start loans can help, by:
- Expanding property and herds
- Improving pastures and optimising carrying capacity
- Installing exclusion/predator fencing
- Improving water infrastructure and stock-handling capability
- Building drought and natural disaster resistance
- Facilitating rural succession
