A fire that has been burning in the Okeden-Coverty area since Sunday flared up again over Thursday night.
At 9:00am on Friday, three fire crews were on the scene of the fire, which is burning near K Duff Road.
A QFES spokesperson said firefighters had conducted backburning operations and strengthened control lines.
At 5:00pm on Friday, the fire was burning within containment lines and not producing much smoke.
Residents were advised that smoke in the area is coming from a permitted burn near Dangore.
