The Avocado Festival wants your feedback and suggestions to help make next year’s event even better … and they’ve set up an online survey you can complete in just a few minutes

September 27, 2016

The Bloomin’ Beautiful Blackbutt Avocado Festival has only just been and gone, but festival organisers are already wondering how they can make next year’s event even better.

This year more than 5000 people attended the two day event.

But there is no rest for the Festival’s organising committee, who have already started planning for 2017’s outing.

And they need your help to make sure next year’s festival will continue to improve.

They’re asking those who came along – and even those who didn’t – for some suggestions and feedback via an online survey.

“We’d like friends, family and visitors to the Avocado Festival to spend a few minutes letting the organising committee know how the experience was for them,” Festival chairman Jeff Connor said.

“We want to know what people would like us to do better next year.

“We’d also like to know what they would like to see as part of the 2017 program”.

You can take the online survey by clicking here.

  1. Hi, you only need to improve on a few things. First is the Festival needs to put in one area, it is too spread out for the oldies to walk around. Second, the street parade could be sent down Douglass Street instead of main road in case of emergency services need to use the main road, and if there is music in park, it needs to stop while parade is on. Third is while the parade is on, people would like to know the floats that are coming eg. tennis club. Get someone to introduce them. Lastly, the food at the showgrounds needs to be cooked more (a few raw burgers made )and a bit more choice in food.
