Claudia Jones, from Windera, won Supreme Champion Ridden Hack at this year’s Spring Hack Show with her horse Rosebrook Rhythm N Rendition; the garland was donated by Nanango Taxi Service

September 20, 2016

The South Burnett Equestrian Group held their annual Spring Hack Show at their grounds in Racecourse Road, Nanango on Saturday.

There were concerns earlier in the week the hack show might have to be cancelled due to wet weather, but organisers pressed ahead and the forecast turned out to be wrong.

There was a good turnout of horses and riders for this year’s event, both from within and outside the South Burnett, all competing for the prizes on offer.

This year’s Supreme Champion Ridden Hack was won by 12-year-old Claudia Jones, from Windera.

Claudia competed alongside her two sisters, who also have many competitive riding awards to their credit.
