Schoolkids interested in robotics and the fundamentals of coding can book into attend a free holiday activity which will be held at Yarraman Library next Tuesday (September 20).
The one-hour activity, made possible by a grant from the State Library of Queensland, is designed to suit children aged seven to 12.
“The program includes a range of activities that will explain how things tick,” Cr Joe Ramia said.
“They will appeal to youngsters who wish to advance their digital literacy.”
Cr Ramia said the funding had allowed Council to schedule sessions at every library across the Toowoomba region.
Other sessions will be held at Highfields, Crows Nest, Oakey, Quinalow, Pittsworth, Clifton, Goombungee, Millmerran, Cecil Plains, and Toowoomba.
