FLASHBACK: Durong State School students in 2013; by the end of October the school will have an upgraded car park, and a safer set down and bus turnaround area

The South Burnett Regional Council will begin an upgrade of the Durong State School carpark, set down area and bus turnaround on Monday, September 19.

This project will involve widening the existing sealed area, installation of a concrete channel, bitumen sealing, a concrete footpath, new signage, trees, line marking and formalised parking.

To provide a safe work environment during the construction period, access to the area will be restricted.

Project completion is expected in late October.

Local residents with concerns during the construction period may contact the onsite supervisor, or Council’s Customer Service Centres on (07) 4189-9100.
