St Mary’s Catholic College may be late starter to the local trivia circuit, but teachers and parents were keen to make it an odds-on favourite for local punters on Saturday night.

The “Off And Racing” theme tempted guests to break out their racing silks or trackside finery.

P&F vice-president Damien Martoo – a familiar compere at many local events – read out the tricky questions.

The trivia night was organised by the P&F as a fundraiser for the college’s Year 12 Valedictory Dinner.

A special guest was former St Mary’s principal Michael Nayler, who is now principal at St Michael’s College, Merrimac.

Snacks were available to purchase, and Kingsley Grove had their wine stall set up for customers.

There was also a photo booth for happy snaps.

And the winning team on the night? Stable Hands.
