For the second year in a row, the South Burnett Window Tinting Redbacks have taken out the South Burnett Cadets soccer premiership.

And also for the second year, the team won in a penalty shootout after extra time could not separate the grand finalists.

Last year, the SBWTR defeated Kingaroy Joinery Redbacks after the scores were locked 3-all at full-time.

The year, the SBWTR faced the Conpak Earthmoving Redbacks, who had won the Cadets InterClub Challenge last month.

At half-time, CER led 2-0, but SBWTR fought back in the second half and at full-time the score was 2-all.

Twenty minutes of extra time could not produce a winner, so the decision came from a penalty shootout.

Player of the final was Taylor Watt.

In the 12/13s Grand Final, the Goldmix Stockfeed Bears defeated the Sports First Redbacks 4-3 in a high-scoring game.

Maddi Sainsby was named player of the final.
