A four-year-old boy was airlifted from Cherbourg on Thursday evening after being hit by a car.
The Toowoomba LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted him from Cherbourg Hospital to the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital about 6:00pm.
The boy suffered a broken leg in the accident.
He was accompanied by his father for the flight to Brisbane and travelled in a stable condition.
