Ronald and Joyce Barron, from Wattle Grove, tied the knot on June 18, 1966, at the then-Methodist Church in Kingaroy.
A little over 50 years later, the couple’s family gathered together at the weekend to celebrate.
More than 50 people gathered at Ringsfield House in Nanango on Saturday to enjoy a catered lunch in the historic building.
Ron and Joyce have three children – Ricky, Tracy Rockemer and Lolita Ford – and seven grandchildren.
The function was organised by Tracy and Lolita, who also organised the the beautiful cake for the couple to cut.
