Traffic was briefly disrupted on Cherbourg Road on Wednesday afternoon because of a truck fire.
The driver of a tow truck escaped without injury when the vehicle caught alight, but the cabin of the truck was badly damaged in the incident.
Fire crews sprayed foam on the truck to extinguish the flames.
Two ambulances attended the incident but were not required.
