A special function was held at Tablelands Hall on Saturday night to announce the South Burnett’s representatives at the Brisbane Exhibition.

Sub-Chamber judges selected Kingaroy’s Miss Showgirl Jordanne Green to represent the South Burnett in the Miss Showgirl competition.

Nanango’s Justin Matthews will be heading to the Ekka in the Rural Ambassador competition.

Lorraine Taylor (Murgon) will be the South Burnett’s representative in the Dark Rich Fruitcake competition.

These three categories were judged on Saturday night.

The other South Burnett Sub-Chamber representatives were selected at the Kingaroy and Blackbutt shows:

  • Dairy Cattle Young Judge – Bryan Noakes
  • Dairy Cattle Parader – Mickayla Crawford
  • Stud Beef Young Judge – Amy Birch
  • Stud Beef Parader – Luke Cox
  • Prime Beef Young Judge – Stephanie Laycock

The South Burnett will also be sending down 11 category winners in the Ute competition.
