The Wondai Race Club will be holding its traditional Anzac Day Race Meeting at the Wondai Racecourse in Cadell Street, Wondai on Saturday.
The meeting is the 43rd Anzac Day meeting held at the course, and proceeds will go to aid Legacy.
As usual, it will feature an on-course TAB, live telecasts of interstate races, an undercover betting ring, barbecue and bar.
There’ll also be a Fashions Of The Field competition for the meeting’s “Diamonds And Pearls” theme.
Buses will be leaving the Fitzroy Hotel in Nanango at noon, the Commercial Hotel in Kingaroy at 12:30pm, Proston’s Golden Spurs Hotel at 11:30am, the Hivesville Hotel at 11:45am and the Murgon Newsagency at 12:30pm (phone 0402-715-242 to guarantee a seat).
Gates will open at the track about noon and Race 1 will leave the barriers at 1:30pm.
