A match from Queensland’s premier soccer competition for women, the PlayStation® 4 Women’s National Premier Leagues, will be played in Kingaroy on Sunday, April 24.

The local derby will feature the Toowoomba-based South West Queensland Thunder taking on the Sunshine Coast.

The game is scheduled to start at 1:00pm at Tom Alford Oval.

Thunder, who are currently at fourth spot on the ladder with two wins after four games, should go in as favourites over the Sunshine Coast who are yet to record a win.

Thunder also have the bye the week before, so should be fresh for the game.

Also on the program will be PS4 WNPL games for U13 Girls at 10:00am and U15 Girls at 11:30am.

Update April 22: In addition to women’s games, there’ll also be two men’s games played at 3:00pm and 5:00pm.

Because of the Nanango Show on Saturday, April 23 – which required the attendance of several of the Nanango Panthers’ key players – the 2nd Division and 1st Division matches between Wests and Nanango Panthers that were originally scheduled to be played yesterday will now be played after the women’s matches.
