Head on down to Wondai on Wednesday to cheer on the latest Burrumbuttock Hay Runners!

Nine road trains loaded with hay will be leaving leaving Wondai under police escort on Wednesday about 10:00am.

There will also be some Baked Relief on board for western families, baked by South Burnett donors.

The trucks will do a lap of the Wondai roundabout before heading down the Bunya Highway towards Tingoora.

The South Burnett convoy, which is being organised by Paul and Gina Gleich, will then drive on to Wyandra in south-west Queensland where it meet up with trucks travelling from other parts of Queensland and NSW.

The final convoy, which is expected to stretch about 140km end-to-end, will arrive in Ilfracombe on Friday (April 1).
