A fundraising appeal has been set up to help the wife and daughter of a man killed in a 4WD rollover at Landcruiser Mountain Park at Jimna on Sunday.
Scott Sutherland, 35, from Caboolture, was a passenger in a 4WD which rolled several times.
A police spokesman said the vehicle was negotiating a very steep incline when the driver appeared to lose control.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
The death has left his wife Stefanie and nine-month-old daughter Holly without Scott’s income to pay for the funeral and mortgage.
Friends have set up a GoFundMe page to help raise funds for the family, and have also contacted members of various Queensland 4WD clubs for assistance.
A “tag-along” fundraising drive for 4WDs is also being organised at the Glasshouse Mountains for March 12.
