A 42-year-old Wattle Camp man died in a single vehicle crash on the D’Aguilar Highway on Saturday night.
The incident occurred about six kilometres west of Kilcoy at Woolmar about 9:20pm.
The Commodore utility left the road and went down an embankment.
The driver, the only occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.
Police investigations are continuing.

A 35-year-old passenger died when a 4WD rolled several times at LandCruiser Mountain Park at Jimna at 1:00am on Sunday.
The 34-year-old driver was not injured.
A police spokesman said the vehicle was negotiating a very steep incline when the driver appeared to lose control.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
Police have seized the vehicle and investigations are continuing.

The road toll for 2016 stands at 41, including 17 deaths in February. This is 15 more fatalities than for the same period last year.
