BGA Agriservices in Goomeri is again running a lucerne hay competition in conjunction with the annual Goomeri Show.

And because the season has been good, organisers are hoping for a big roll-up of entries.

Entries must be delivered to the BGA Goomeri car park before noon on March 11.

Judging will take place at 4:00pm that day and the presentations to the winners will be made at the show on March 19.

“With a good season and sheds full of hay, this year is looking good for our best ever comp,” store manager Andrew Holden said.

Entry is three small bales which will be swapped for two passes to the Goomeri Show.

Andrew said there were $1000 worth of prizes to be won.

There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd plus multi-draw prizes.

All monies raised will go to the Goomeri and District Show Society and local charities.

For more information, phone Andrew on (07) 4168-4166.
