A Candidates Forum for Mayoral and Division 2 candidates will be held in Blackbutt on Tuesday, March 8.
After large attendances at recent forums organised by the Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and the Nanango Tourism and Development Association, the Blackbutt-Benarkin Community Council announced today they believe Blackbutt should have a forum, too.
The event will be held at the Blackbutt Memorial Hall in Coulson Street, and will start at 6:00pm.
All Mayoral and Division 2 candidates have been invited to speak.
The format of the forum has yet to be announced.
Admission will be free.
A forum for Mayoral and Division 3, 4 and 6 candidates will also be held at St John’s Lutheran Hall at 84 Ivy Street in Kingaroy on Wednesday, March 9.
And on Thursday, March 10, a forum for Mayoral and Division 6 candidates, organised by the Murgon Business and Development Association, will be held at the Murgon Services Club.
Both will begin at 6:00pm.
