The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter service received a nice lift on Wednesday in the form of a $4000 cheque from the Kingaroy RSL Club.
Club manager Maxine Tessmann said this was the fifth year that the club had raised money for the service, and each year the cheque had managed to grow a little.
The money was raised through raffles at the club, but a lot also came from the sale of children’s “activity bags” at the front counter of the club.
All money raised from these goes to RACQ CareFlight.
