Seven new Kingaroy SES members achieved a personal goal in their development recently.

Over the past year they have all trained diligently to achieve a number of nationally accredited qualifications required to advance to the rank of Field Operations Member.

As well as achieving these qualifications in a wide range of rescue and safety disciplines, they have also assumed the responsibilities the rank carries, which are to be mentors to other new members as well as operatives in SES roles.

After having their epaulettes presented and fixed to their uniforms, they were thrown into conducting a spontaneous training session for the other group members present to demonstrate their high calibre and class.

The Kingaroy SES Group is in excellent hands with these members progressing among the ranks – well done to you all.

If you have the urge to demonstrate your talents and skills in a professional and friendly environment, why not come and try the SES?

Training is on Mondays from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the SES facility in Glendon Street, Kingaroy; just pop in and say hello!
