Police attempted to stop a suspicious vehicle in Fisher Street, Kingaroy, at 1:30am on Saturday after it allegedly took a number of corners at excessive speed.
The vehicle then crashed into a gutter in Fairview Drive.
Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, said the driver tried to run away but was quickly stopped by police.
He allegedly recorded a BAC of .180, more than three times the legal limit.
He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court in March.

A 16-year-old girl will appear in Kingaroy Children’s Court next month charged with stealing, obstructing police and wilful damage of a police vehicle.
Police arrested the girl at a residence in Jean Street, Kingaroy, last Thursday.
She was wanted in regards to the alleged theft of bicycles from another residence.
However, police will allege that when she was placed in the rear of a police vehicle, she began kicking inside the door, damaging the door frame and window.
She has been remanded to appear on March 11.

A 22-year-old man has been issued with a notice to appear in court to face charges of public nuisance and consuming alcohol in a public place after police were called to Haly Street, Kingaroy, at 10:00pm on Friday.

A 27-year-old woman has been charged with public nuisance, begging and breaching bail after allegedly hassling people and begging for money in the Kingaroy CBD on Sunday.
Snr Sgt Frank said the woman was arrested and held in custody. She is facing 15 other charges in the Sandgate Magistrates Court.

Police were called to Memerambi at 8:00pm on Sunday after reports of an incident.
Snr Sgt Frank said they found an extremely intoxicated man who allegedly admitted to police that he had been driving a vehicle.
Because of his level of intoxication, police took the man to Kingaroy Hospital where a specimen of blood was taken for analysis.
He has been issued with a notice to appear to face charges of drink-driving and wilful damage, in relation to a road sign allegedly found in his possession.

Police stopped a vehicle in River Road, Kingaroy, at 8:00am on Monday.
“Due to the behviour of the occupants, the vehicle was searched and as a result a 42-year-old woman was arrested and taken into custody,” Snr Sgt Frank said.
Police allegedly located a number of clipseal bags in the vehicle containing a crystalline substance, suspected of being methamphetamine, a small amount of cannabis, scales and other items related to drug use.
The woman has been charged with possessing dangerous drugs and possessing drug implements.

On Saturday, Kingaroy detectives located a 27-year-old man in a residence in Prince Street, Kingaroy.
He has been charged with burglary relating to an incident in First Avenue, Kingaroy, on February 11 where money and jewellery was allegedly stolen.

On Sunday, police executed a drug search warrant on a house in Haly Street, Kingaroy.
A 21-year-old man has been issued with a notice to appear in relation to possessing dangerous drugs. Police will allege they located a small amount of cannabis in the house.

On February 11, police searched a house in Kingaroy Street where they located a number of people.
A 44-year-old woman has been issued with a notice to appear to face a charge of supplying dangerous drugs and two counts of possessing dangerous drugs.
Police allegedly located cannabis and amphetamines in the residence. They allege these drugs had also been supplied to other people.
The woman will appear in court on March 7.
