The Nanango Race Club will be holding its popular annual Valentine’s Race Meeting at the Lee Park Raceway on Saturday.

In honour of Valentine’s Day, this meeting’s theme is “Pandemonium Pink” and guests are encouraged to dress up in their best pink outfits or accessories to be in the running for some great Moffatdale Ridge Fashions Of The Field prizes.

The club’s popular Pink Champagne bar will be running all day and there’ll also be a licensed bar and barbecue, canteen, bookies and an on-course tote.

As an added attraction, one lucky couple will also win a dinner for two to the value of $70 at Nanango’s Copper Country Restaurant.

Buses will be running from Kingaroy’s Glendon Street Bus Depot at noon, and the Nanango RSL at 12:30pm

Gates will open at the track at 10:00am and the first race will leave the barriers at 1:20pm.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for pensioners (under-15s are free).

This meeting is being sponsored by Ken Mills Toyota, Three Way Photos, Fiedler Brothers Plumbing, Cr Damien Tessmann, Mayor Wayne Kratzmann, Cr Barry Green and Cr Deb Palmer.
