South Burnett artists and craftspeople have been invited to take part in the Kingaroy Regional Art Gallery’s Great Summer Sale and Auction next month.
The Great Summer Sale will run from February 1 to February 27.
Items submitted can include paintings, sculpture, ceramics and distinctive pieces of craftwork but must be the artist’s own work and not produced in a workshop.
They must also be less than five years old.
There is a maximum of four pieces per person, and an entry fee of $5 per item.
A 20 per cent commission fee from sales will go towards the Acquisition Fund of the South Burnett Regional Council Art Collection, which is based in the Gallery.
The maximum size of any framed or free-standing work is 1m wide and 1.5m high.
However, there will also be a People’s Choice award for first, second and third with a total of $500 in prize money available to be run in conjunction with Summer Sale.
