Twenty-six bowlers graced the greens of the Kingaroy Bowls Club for club selected Triples last Thursday.
Because of the low numbers, two games of pairs were put in along with three games of triples, with scoring six points for a win and one point for each end won.

Last Sunday, what better way to spend it in Kingaroy than getting out and playing a few ends of lawn bowls?
It was a bit warm but when the sun finally disappeared behind the dark clouds that arrived in the afternoon it became a bit cooler.
Members enjoyed the company of two juniors – Lauchlan Stone and Braydon Ballin – who have recently decided to take up the sport. Both are showing a lot of promise.
Twenty-six bowlers played in three games of Triples and two games of pairs.

Ladies at the Kingaroy Bowls Club are having a “Bring A Friend” day on Wednesday, January 13, at 1:00pm.
Any woman between the ages of 8 and 88 is welcome at this low-key day to try their hand at lawn bowls.
So if you would like to get out of the house and enjoy some sunshine, laughter and great company, come along with a smile and a pair of flat soled shoes (bare feet or thongs are optional).

The Bendigo Community Bank Triples Trophy Day will be held at the Yarraman Bowls Club on Saturday, March 12.
Names need to be in by noon for a 12:30pm start, and teams will be allotted by a club draw.
The competition will take the form of two games of three bowl triples over 12 ends, and it will be followed by a barbecue tea.
Nomination fees are $10 per player and there will be a $225 first prize for the winning team, a $150 second prize and a $75 third prize, plus Bendigo Bank merchandise.
