A man has died in a head-on collision on the Burnett Highway at Binjour, north of Gayndah.
The incident occurred about 5:00pm on Boxing Day.
The driver of one of the vehicles, a 26-year-old Alexandra Headland man, died at the scene.
The driver the other vehicle, a 35-year-old Mudgeeraba woman, received non-life threatening injuries.
The highway was closed whilst the Forensic Crash Unit conducted examinations at the scene.
Police investigations are continuing.
