Yarraman is planning an evening of community fun for South Burnett residents looking for family activities to enjoy on New Year’s Day.

The New Year’s Day Festival, organised by the Yarraman & District Progress Association, will run from 4:00pm to 10:00pm in the Errol Munt Recreation grounds.

There’ll be heaps of fun for the kids to enjoy, including jumping castles, a slide, dodgem cars and Blazer the Bear.

A licensed bar will be operating to keep the adults happy, too.

As well, there will be live entertainment and food and drinks stalls.

The evening will be topped off by a fireworks display.

The festival has been sponsored by Yarraman businesses to help keep costs down for families.

Rides will be $2 each, or tickets for five rides can be bought for $5; unlimited rides can be purchased for $15.
