A decision on whether or not the South Burnett Regional Council will take over the management of the South Burnett Private Hospital will be made in December.
A final version of the financial evaluation report, prepared by independent consultants Ernst & Young, will be available to Council next week.
southburnett.com.au understands that council staff received an earlier version of the report but it was sent back with a request for additional information.
This has pushed back Council’s decision-making on the matter.
Council officers and Councillors will now meet to discuss the report and formulate a recommendation.
This will be considered at a Council meeting to be held in December – either at the regular meeting on December 9 or at a special meeting.
