Three drivers intercepted by the Kingaroy Road Policing Unit over the past two days will face charges … two for drug driving and one for drink driving.

Senior Constable Jade Miller said 27-year-old woman from Caboolture, pulled over at Crawford on Sunday for allegedly doing 116km/h in a 100km/h zone, had tested positive for methamphetamine.

He said the woman was issued with a 24-hour suspended licence, but just 10 minutes later police caught her driving while under suspension.

On Sunday afternoon, a 48-year-old Caloundra man was stopped in Nanango for allegedly doing 111km/h in a 100km/h zone. He also allegedly tested positive to methamphetamine in a roadside test, and was then taken to Nanango Hospital for a blood test.

At 10:30am on Monday, a 52-year-old Moffatdale woman was stopped by police in Kumbia. She allegedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.057.
