Yarraman took a break in their calendar last week to take up an offer from Bowls Queensland to conduct coaching and umpiring courses.
Eight players attended a weekend course for coaching this weekend just gone, and next weekend the course will update some of the players in umpiring.
The course dates fitted in nicely with the weather, which was less than perfect for normal bowls for most of the week.

Yarraman has a full calendar for the remainder of the year.
One interesting event is the club’s “Come Let’s Bowl” day next Saturday, November 21, which is part of the club’s new membership dive.
Another is the Rosalie Fours competition in early December, which is always one of the club’s major events for the year.
The event was initially promoted by the Rosalie Shire Council and has continued to attract bowlers from South East Queensland.
