Waterhole Rocks Announces Winners

This year’s Waterhole Rocks festival offered a special attraction for guests who packed into the Nanango Showgrounds for three days of rock and roll dancing, fashion, food and cars.

The special attraction was a raffle for a prize that would delight any genuine rock & roller’s heart – or any revhead’s heart, come to that.

It was a unique “EJ BBQ” – a modern barbecue mounted inside the boot of a purple EJ Holden.

The EJ BBQ drew a lot of eyeballs at the Festival, and prompted many raffle ticket sales.

The raffle was drawn at the Showgrounds on October 18 and the winners were Mark and Michelle Haywood from Boondall.

Trophy winners for the Show & Shine and dancing competitions were announced today by the South Burnett Gas Guzzlers, who organised the Festival.
