Kingaroy detectives say they located an illicit drug laboratory when they raided a house in Ellesmere on Saturday.

The police executed a drug search warrant at the home, in Kumbia Road.

A 47-year-old man was arrested at the scene and has been charged with a number of drug offences, including producing dangerous drugs.

A police team was called in from Brisbane to dismantle the alleged clandestine lab.

Two more South Burnett residents have been charged with drug driving.

On Friday afternoon, a 57-year-old man was pulled over by police in Avoca Street, Kingaroy; he allegedly tested positive to cannabis.

Shortly afterwards, a 20-year-old man was stopped in Somerset Street, Kingaroy.

He also allegedly tested positive to cannabis.

On Monday, police received a complaint that a new residence under construction in Lorikeet Court had been unlawfully entered and a number of walls damaged.

Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, from Kingaroy Police, said the house was not to lock up stage. He said a number of holes had been put into walls and other walls had been stabbed with a knife.

Local residents saw a number of youths  leaving the area.

Police have dealt with four boys – two aged 13 and two aged 14 – under the Youth Justice Act.

On Thursday morning, police arrested a 28-year-old man at a home in Frangipani Drive, Kingaroy. The man was wanted on a warrant for failing to appear at Kingaroy Magistrates’ Court.

At 6:00pm on Thursday, police arrested another man wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in court. The 19-year-old man was arrested at a house in Buckingham Street, Kingaroy.

On Friday morning, police executed a drug search warrant in Gladys Street, Kingaroy.

A 16-year-old girl was issued with a notice to appear in court on a charge of possessing dangerous drugs (cannabis); a 39-year-old woman was also issued with a notice to appear on a charge of possessing drug utensils.

On Friday afternoon, Kingaroy police stopped a vehicle in Alford Street, Kingaroy.

Police allege they found a man in possession of a clipseal bag containing a small quantity of a white, crystalline substance.

Police also allegedly located a large quantity of cash and a set of scales.

A 36-year-old man was issued with a notice to appear to face a charge of possessing dangerous drugs.

On Saturday night, Kingaroy police were called to a disturbance in Haly Street.

Police allege an intoxicated man had damaged a vehicle parked in the street near a hotel.

A 35-year-old man was taken into custody and charged with wilful damage.
