Monday is upon us once again, no matter how much we ask for the weekend to be longer.
However, to end the Monday blues, Kingaroy RSPCA is presenting this cute, furry, soft, loving furchild that’s looking for a furrever family.
Introducing, Reggie!
Reggie is a sweet-natured seven-month-old Kelpie cross looking for the ideal family.
Reggie made the big journey from head office in Brisbane to enjoy the country life – he was not a city boy at all!
In saying that, he would be pretty useless as a working country boy. The only country part that Reggie has picked up on is the laid back, calm and quiet lifestyle. Oh that, and he also likes rolling around in the red dirt!
Reggie has been here with us for just short of a month, and in that month his repertoire of skills has increased from just a basic sit!
Currently Reggie is able to sit, shake, drop, and stay.
He’s a clever cookie who walks well on lead, plays well with other dogs but most importantly just enjoys human company for belly scratches and cuddles. He’s a pretty big smooch making sure to kiss anyone’s face that sits with him.
Reggie would be best suited to a home with either another dog for company, or a home where he isn’t left on his own for long periods of the day. He would also really benefit from one of the local dog obedience classes, if for nothing more than a social outing to meet lots of new doggy friends!
He is so smart and eager to please that adding to his resume would be little work.
As pet of the week, Reggie’s adoption fee is $157.50.
For $157.50 you get a dog that is up to date with vaccinations, worming flea and heartworm treatments, desexed, microchipped, and registered with the South Burnett Regional Council, if you live locally.
Choosing to adopt will not only changes Reggie’s life but will also help the RSPCA to change other dogs’ lives.
