An 18-year-old woman on P Plates has lost her licence immediately after being pulled over for allegedly speeding on the Burnett Highway at Booubyjan on Wednesday afternoon.
Senior Constable Jade Miller, from the Kingaroy Road Policing Unit, said the Sippy Downs teenager was driving north when she was stopped while allegedly doing 140km/h in a 100km/h zone.
Snr Const Miller said the penalty the woman faced was a $549 fine and the loss of six points.
However, as she was on a P Plate she lost her licence immediately.
