The fire brigade and police were called to a home in Keith Shaw Drive in Kingaroy at 10:00pm last Friday after reports of a fire.
The fire began on a stove and spread into the ceiling.
No one was injured and firefighters extinguished the flames.

Police executed a search warrant at a house in Haly Street, Kingaroy, on Sunday evening in relation to possible drug and property offences.
A 23-year-old Kingaroy man was taken into custody and charged in regards to possession of a mobile phone suspected to have been stolen, and possession of drug utensils.

A 33-year-old Kingaroy man had his number plates confiscated for seven days after he was pulled over by police in Youngman Street, Kingaroy.
He was issued with a notice to appear in court on a charge of unlicensed driving. The man’s licence had been suspended previously for a high speed speeding offence.
